Loosely based on Haviestoun, Bitter and Twisted. Harviestoun have the following to say on their website, “Bitter & Twisted is a superbly-balanced, refreshingly lively beer. It has a malty-sweet aroma with floral, fruity hoppiness and a zingy, zesty flavour. Complex, rounded, sweet, dry; this one is the connoisseurs’ session beer par excellence”. Mmmm … not sure about all that clart but it is a very good bevvy. Silver Fox is made with Challenger, Hallertauer and Styrian Goldings.

The beer is named for Darrell (pictured), who is the “Silver Fox” – and he’s only rarely bitter and twisted.
