Getting In

  • You should have been given a four digit code for the gate. Once you enter this code you have 5 seconds to pull the left gate towards you. You will need a firm pull
  • The keys to the front door for each house and a gate key are in key boxes. The key box for Jacquette is near the foot of the steps. The key box for Philibert is up the steps to the left of the main door
  • You should have been given a five digit code for the key box
  • Once you have entered the code and removed the keys please close the key box immediately
  • The keys for other parts of the house are in a box near the front door inside each house

Closing the Gate

  • NOTE: When the gate is closed it can only be opened from inside by the key or by pressing a button on the intercoms in each house. The intercoms are near each front door and the instructions are written on the intercom
  • Please do not deadlock the gate with the key since it cannot then be opened from the keypad or the intercom

Opening the Gate for Visitors

  • If the gates are closed, visitors can call both houses using the intercom on the wall near the gates. There is a portable handset near the front door in each house. The instructions to open the gate (and to call the other house) are on the handsets

Security Cameras

  • There is a security camera on the shelves near the dining table in Jacquette. The camera is not switched on when the house is occupied but you may prefer to disconnect the power from the back of the camera to ensure privacy
  • There is also a fixed security camera to the courtyard

Getting Around

  • You have to lift the handle to lock the door to Philibert, the door to the courtyard bedroom (inner) and the door to the laundry
  • The main door to Jaquette is closed by pushing down the handle to retract the retaining bolts and then pulling the door sharply closed (so the retaining bolts spring into the frame)

When You Leave

  • When you are leaving please return the front door keys to the external key box using your five digit code (any other keys can be left in the box inside front door in each house)
  • If you switched on the hot water please switch it off before leaving
